I tend to go from one big crafty project to another. Currently the project is a Christmas present for my sister Brynne. I am making her a set of journals (yes, making- I took a bookbinding class). This is my sketch of what they will look like when they are finished:
Four journals and one box case that they all fit in. I know it might not sound like such a big project, but to put it in perspective, ONE of these journals takes about 8 hours. And since I will have to make up how to make the case as I go along...well, just trust me.
So far I have done a rough cut of all four textblocks. I will post photos of the whole process when 1. I am closer to being finished and 2. I feel like moving the pictures on my camera onto the computer.
The cover papers are actually lovely colorful things, I just like to sketch in ballpoint pen for some reason.
After I finish this, I can start thinking about everybody else's Christmas presents!
